I recently designed the poster for The Ocean’s Australian tour. Seeing as though it’s there first tour over here, I decided to keep the poster quite iconic and literal, borrowing themes and imagery from some of their previous albums. I also thought the scale of the Octopus to the boat helped represent the bands grandiose sound.
Recently I had the pleasure of having some work included in a design book dedicated completely to metal and hardcore graphics. The book was put together by Christian Campos, and features 552 pages of almost every piece of metal / hardcore design paraphernalia you could think of. It also includes artists from all around the world, from well known names like Invisible Creature, Jacob Bannon and Jon Baizley, to local Australian artists and bands. It is an absolute honour to be included. Do yourself a favour and grab this book!
